Why Me?

My goals are simple: to find you a home you love quickly and efficiently, to obtain it for the lowest possible price, and to do this with ease and convenience to you.  Plus, my design background sets me apart from other agents. I have the ability to see hidden potential in spaces, and to help you see it too. I have a trained eye, and professional experience creating spaces that fit people’s needs and wants. I’ll also, if requested, happily offer remodelling suggestions, design ideas, and create floorplans to illustrate these ideas.

The Process

-To start the search for your new home, it’s a good idea to get pre-approved for a mortgage. This gives us an idea of your budget, and creates a starting point for our search. We then narrow our focus as we examine your needs, wants, must-haves, and definitely-nots. With this wish list in mind, we tour homes and neighbourhoods that I think you’ll love, and maybe some you didn’t think you would, but do!

-When we find that home that feels right, we prepare an offer which details the price, the deposit, any conditions, inclusions/exclusions, and the possession date.  This process can be anywhere from straightforward to very complex. I’ll be there to negotiate on your behalf, and navigate the process so it goes as smoothly as possible.

-Your offer has been accepted! Now what? Closing involves a surprising number of people and several added costs that you need to be aware of, and budget for, during your pre-approval stage. You can expect to come into contact with all or some of the following professionals: mortgage brokers, home inspectors, real estate lawyers, appraisers, and insurance professionals.  I will help guide you through the closing process, and would be happy to provide you with contacts for any professionals who could be of assistance.
